Accredited
Beacon Academy of Nevada is a Nevada sponsored and regionally accredited public charter high school designed specifically to help students get an excellent high school education and transition on to college, university, postsecondary training or to the world of work. Diplomas given by Beacon are the same as any diploma given in the state of Nevada by any high school, public or private. The credits earned from courses completed at Beacon are automatically accepted at all other accredited schools.

Every Student is Unique
Beacon Academy respects student interest and gives wide options in getting the education students deserve, and have the right to receive. In addition, Beacon offers over 100 academic elective and occupational courses in both regular and summer school programs enabling students to get the most appropriate and interesting credits as they fulfill the requirements for graduation. In fact, Beacon also has special programs to help students who are over 21 or who have not passed the Nevada High School Proficiency Examination and have not yet received a diploma. Beacon works with each student individually to help design an educational program which best fits their needs, interests and family responsibilities.
